Head Start / Early Head Start

The Center-Based option is a Head Start program designed to provide a quality early education experience to enhance your child's learning and development. For children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old, CNE funds two classrooms at Swift Child Care Center in Skokie.

Child Care Assistance Program - Illinois Department of Human Services

CNE also administers a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to provide child care subsidies to approximately 100 children

The Center-Based option is a Head Start program designed to provide a quality early education experience to enhance your child's learning and development. For children ages 3 to 5, CNE funds two different center-based childcare options:

Preschool for All - Illinois State Board of Education

CNE obtains funding to support five local early education centers providing Preschool for All (PFA) services for up to 118 children ages 3-5, specifically those that may benefit from additional academic support.

Child Care Assistance Program - Illinois Department of Human Services

CNE also administers a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to provide child care subsidies to over 100 local children.
