The Center-Based option is a Head Start program designed to provide a quality early education experience to enhance your child's learning and development. For children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old, CNE funds two classrooms at Swift Child Care Center in Skokie.

Child Care Assistance Program - Illinois Department of Human Services
CNE also administers a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to provide child care subsidies to approximately 100 children

Swift Child Care Center
One classroom in Skokie serves children ages 3 to 5.
McGaw YMCA
One classroom at the McGaw YMCA Children's Center in Evanston serves children ages 3 to 5.
Additional Childcare Options

Preschool for All - Illinois State Board of Education
CNE obtains funding to support five local early education centers providing Preschool for All (PFA) services for up to 118 children ages 3-5, specifically those that may benefit from additional academic support.
