CNE: Building a Child's Future Today

For more information on CNE Service see our update page: https://cnefamilies.wordpress.com

Since 1967, CNE has served the community of Evanston by creating awareness about the importance of early childhood education and by advocating for the youngest members of our communities. And like the families we serve, CNE continues to grow.

• For the past 10 years, CNE has built a reputation as one of the "gold standard" providers of Early Head Start (EHS) services - services designed to provide ongoing, intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services with the goal of fostering the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development for children 0 to 3 years old.

• In early 2010, CNE expanded beyond the Evanston borders after receiving $1.7 million through the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA). This grant will serve the most vulnerable infants, toddlers, families and pregnant women in Evanston, Skokie, Morton Grove, Wilmette, Winnetka, Northfield, Lincolnwood, and Glenview.

• CNE leads the way in providing information about the latest trends in early childhood education and can be a rich resource for teachers and child care providers who turn to CNE for our highly regarded professional development and support.

With its supportive network of parents, teachers and providers, CNE builds the foundation for a child's success in school and in life. Through its programs, CNE makes it possible for every child to receive the earliest education they need, and provides parents with the tools and skills to be strong advocates for their child. CNE continues to change and enrich the lives of families on a daily basis.
